Art Guidelines
Our Prepress and Design team can help you produce your job on time and accurately, no matter how simple or complex. We catalog all your jobs in our extensive database which allows us easy access for reprints.

Below is a checklist to use when sending your artwork for printing. By following these guidelines we will be able to process your job quickly and on time.

Macintosh Based
Applications: QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign
Minimum Resoluton: 150ppi @ final size

• All support files

  Provide all files used in creating the final layout. This is requested for color correction and checking resolution. This enables us to let you know if there will be any unexpected printing problems.

• Bleed

  Incorporate a minimum of 1/4" bleed on all 4 sides

• Fonts used

  If type is created to outlines, including the fonts is not necessary. Avoid using photoshop for type. Use Illustrator, Quark or Indesign instead for your layout and typeset within these applications.

• Layouts

  Create layouts at full size when possible. Otherwise, please be sure they scale proportionally, ie 200%, 300%, 400% ...

• PDF proof
• Pantone Colors

  To help ensure that we are printing the colors you intended, use the Pantone Coated Library within the applications. Avoid using generic names like Red, Green, Blue ...
